We provide third-party Management Company, Corporate Secretary, Regulatory and Strategic Consulting, and Governance Technology solutions. The group, headquartered with full substance in Luxembourg, provides Fund Governance solutions to asset, wealth and fund managers from around the globe and has additional offices in London and Zurich.

Accounting Manager

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Prepare and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations
  • Maintain the general ledger system
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable
  • Assist in variance analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast
  • Research accounting issues for compliance with Lux generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Assist in the budget/forecast processes
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assist in the development, maintenance and analysis of KPI’s for each business
  • Manage the monthly close process
  • Manage the accounting for GP entities serviced by the Cosec team
  • Define, implement and maintain, finance department processes and procedures
  • Assist in preparation of management and Board presentations covering current and projected business results and strategic projects
  • Manage external audits and support internal audit processes as needed
  • Maintain the finance reporting calendar and ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirement
  • Hire, train and supervise accounting staff

 

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or tax
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus)
  • 5+ years of accounting and tax experience
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Office
  • Experience with Bob50 is a plus
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in an accurate and timely manner
  • Autonomous and able to take initiative on projects
  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach
  • Solid time management and prioritisation skills

 

Note:

This position will initially require 3 – 4 days per week and eventually expand to full-time as the business continues to grow.

Position to be filled in January 2023.
