Portfolio Manager Alternative Investments (Junior)

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Execution of Portfolio Management duties with regard to Alternative Investments, especially, but not limited to, Venture Capital, Real Estate and Private Debt, both for direct Investment and Fund-of-Fund Investments;
• Working with external advisors, reviewing investment proposals, considering various strategies and restrictions and monitoring the investment strategies in accordance with the Fund’s business plans;
• Supporting the Onboarding Process of new clients by reviewing related Fund documentation;
• Preparation of reports to the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors of the AIF’s and the Board of Directors of the Management Company;
• Maintenance and upgrade of the investment- and ongoing monitoring processes by working independently on projects related to new requirements; 
• Close collaboration with other teams within the Management Company.
   

Qualifications:

• Successfully completed university degree in economics;
• At least two years of professional experience in the Luxembourg investment fund industry related to Alternative Investments;
• Knowledge in SFDR and the EU Taxonomy is an advantage;
• Self-motivated and detail-focused;
• Very good communication skills and close collaboration with other teams within the Management Company;
• Good PC skills (MS Office, MS Excel);
• Fluency in English. German is an advantage.
