After more than a decade supporting governance alongside industry leaders both in-house and third-party service providers both in Luxembourg and Jersey, I was delighted to be here on day ONE; to be a driving force behind the establishment and success of our dedicated corporate governance arm.
The function of the governance professional is evolving in Luxembourg. Corporate and fund boards alike have a growing appreciation of the benefits of having experienced individuals at the beating heart of the organisation to project manage governance and problem solve. As the responsibility and profile increases, so too do the expectations of the persons in this role.
