#RedPin series / ONE profile: Jean-Yves Corneau
After an early career in the hotel industry that taught me the do’s and don’ts of customer service and facilitated working in various European countries, I had the opportunity to join the financial reporting department of a large international US bank in Luxembourg in 2007. While there, I availed of evening courses to learn more about the fund industry before transitioning to the corporate services department. Enrolling in a part-time two-year university master's degree on banking and finance really boosted my overall knowledge of the industry.
In 2015 I joined the corporate secretary department of a large third party ManCo and discovered the wonders of the management company universe! Having an aptitude for governance, I quickly developed a network among senior officials and independent directors in Luxembourg and abroad.
I am now delighted to have joined a team of great professionals at ONE corporate and I look forward to participating to the continuing success story on the next step of the journey.
