This year, after twelve years in corporate communications and an entrepreneurial stint in the tourism sector in India followed by a maternity leave, I sought a new career opportunity.

To stay engaged professionally during my sabbatical, I followed my passion for discovering new places and successfully set up two travel start-ups. A chance conversation with an ex-colleague in India enabled me to connect with ONE group solutions. Six months later, in July 2022, I was in Luxembourg at the ONE office for a marketing, communications and business development support role.

I felt an instant rapport with my new ONE colleagues during my orientation. The company’s culture is open, transparent, collaborative, and empowering. ONE focuses on building long-term value and sustainable business solutions. Founded by two fund management industry veterans, the company and the role afford me excellent learning opportunities and international work exposure. The assignment feels truly rewarding and is a platform for me to engage with some of the brightest and most diverse professionals from the international fund industry.
